David Henderson has worked in the social sector for the last decade providing direct services to low-income and unhoused adults and families, operating a non-profit organization, and consulting with various social sector organizations.
David’s professional focus is on improving the way social sector organizations utilize information to implement higher impact poverty interventions. He has been quoted in the Chronicle of Philanthropy and has written for Change.org and the Huffington Post.
David has a Masters of Science in Public Policy and Management with Highest Distinction from Carnegie Mellon University.

Michael Gechter focuses on developing quantitative and computational methods to improve decision making and promote outcomes for social sector organizations.
Prior to working at Idealistics, Michael was responsible for data collection and impact analysis at a non-profit organization.
Michael is a PhD student in Economics at Boston University. His research is in the areas of applied econometrics and statistical decision theory and makes use of computerized simulations, statistical estimation, and analytical results.
